Your Associational Mission Team is busy being on Mission for God! We are involved in mission on an Acts 1:8 scale. We are accomplishing this task in concert with and the help of the International Mission Board, Missouri Baptist Convention, Grand Crossings Baptist Association, and the Local Church. That's the Cooperative Program at work. Please remember the following mission efforts in your prayers.
San Vicente, El Salvador Mission Trip- April 5-14
Eight men including Andre' Mooney, Pastor of Mission Of Hope, Bottineau, ND. will be constructing homes that were destroyed by Hurricane Ike last year. This is part of the "Mi Casa Su Casa" project in concert with the MBC. Please pray for their safety, and for them to have opportunities to share their faith.
Vision North Dakota Trip- April 26-30
Martin Stukenborg, Jim Shaver, Steve Tanner, and others will travel to North Dakota to map out the Summer Youth Mission Trip. The Pastors that travel with them will be introduced to John Miller, Director of Missions, and they will go to Bismarck to plan future mission trips with the Pastors of the PPBA. Please pray for their safety as they travel, and for God to show them His will for future mission trips.
Evangelistic Football Camp -June 14-18
Chris Atkinson, Andre' Mooney, others have teamed up to bring an Evangelistic Non-Contact Football Camp to our Association. This camp will be offered to 5th -9th Grade students, and it will begin at noon and end 3:00 p.m. daily. This Camp will begin with an Evangelistic Rally on Sunday, June 13th at 4:00 p.m.. Andre' Mooney will be speaking and two Missouri Tiger Football Players will give their testimonies and sign posters. The location of this rally will be annouced at a later date. Please pray for they coaches and students that will be involved in this camp.
Youth Mission Trip to Bottineau, ND- Late July
Martin Stukenborg and the Youth Ministers of our Association are working together to take a group of youth to N.D. to work on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation this summer. Please pray for the youth and leaders as the minister on this Mission Field.
I praise God for the other mission efforts that are being accomplished by the members of our Association also. Please pray for the Spanish as a Second Language and English as a Second Language class that is meeting at Friendship Baptist Church on Saturday nights. God has truly blessed our Association, and now we are being a blessing to the world by taking the Gospel to our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and even to the uttermost parts of the earth.

April 26 - 30 we will be traveling to North Dakota for a vision planning trip. We will have room for 10 pastors to accompany us.
Each Saturday at 5:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church in Mexico we are conducting both Spanish as a second language and Spanish as a second language classes. To assist in the class we have cd tapes to be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.
